United Police Fund Sends 1.6 Million “Voter Awareness Alerts”
More than 26,000 new supporters!
So far this year, the United Police Fund (UPF) has sent out over 1.6 million messages (“Voter Awareness Alerts”) – in support of law enforcement and crime prevention, and in opposition to the movement to “Defund the Police.”
VOTER AWARENESS ALERTS
We’ve targeted voters in the Seattle and St. Louis areas, focusing on two cities that have been centers of the anti-police movement. This spring, ahead of the St. Louis mayoral election, we sent almost 600,000 messages to voters in counties in the Greater St. Louis area. And this summer, in the weeks leading up to the statewide primary in Washington state, we sent over one million messages to voters in the Seattle area, seeking to influence voters in support of our police officers.
CLEAR PRO-POLICE MESSAGE
Our message has been crystal clear:
- Support our law enforcement officers – let them do their job!
- Crime prevention and public safety are a top priority
- America’s cities are in danger because of the extremist anti-police movement
- Make sure police departments are properly funded
The United Police Fund’s voter outreach efforts in the St. Louis and Seattle areas has resulted in over 26,000 new supporters who will carry this message to their friends, neighbors, and co-workers.
NEXT STOP: VIRGINIA
This fall, the Commonwealth of Virginia is holding an election for governor and key positions in the Virginia legislature.
